Twilight's Savior

A young purple unicorn, with a star has her cutie mark smiled as she walked out of Canterlot to a small forest. She stopped before the forest, and bit her lower lip. Her brother, Shinning Armor, and her pony-sitter, Cadance, the Queen's niece, warned her not to go into the forest, saying it was dangerous, but Twilight had wanted to explore it forever. Maybe she would be able to research something and report to Celestia about it. She heard hooves coming her way and jumped into the bushes and saw Shinning Armor and Cadance looking around in panic.

"Oh Shinning Armor, I'm so sorry. I looked away for a second and she...!" Shinning Armor cut her off, by placing his hoof to her mouth.

"Hey, don't worry, we'll find her." Shinning Armor said, his blue mane was tangled though, in panic and he ran off with Cadance.

Twilight looked up from the bushes, and turned around, going deeper into the forest. As she ventured further, she wrote down interesting things she saw, hoping to research them later. Suddenly she heard other ponies from the entrance.

"Have you found Twilight yet?!" The voice of her mother said.

"Not yet mom and dad. Hopefully you two had better luck right? Like clues?" The voice of Shinning Armor.

"No, Celestia needs to know about this!" The voice of her father shouted.

Twilight was about to run out of the woods to stop them, but thought against it, thinking they probably were extremely worried and would wait until she came back. Twilight walked further until she tripped over a tree root, and gasped at the scary tree beside her. Twilight screamed and began running, panicked. She slammed into something, and gasped as she had run into another tree. Twilight kept running into tree after tree, rock after rock, tripped root over root, and pebble over pebble, before she hit something furry.

"Oh sorry." Twilight said and gasped in fear, her eyes widened considerably at what she saw.

A Manticore was before her, and when he turned around, Twilight backed up, and gave a sheepish smile.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to disturb you." Twilight said, but the Manticore ignored her as he roared at her and she screamed.

With Celestia: Celestia sighed as she tapped her hoof impatiently against the ground. Cadance should be here by now with Twilight. Suddenly the doors opened, and Celestia smiled as she straightened herself, but remained laying down, expecting Cadance, but what she saw made her blood freeze, and her body go cold. Shinning Armor, Cadance, and Twilights' parents looked panicked, and Twilight was nowhere to be seen. Celestia slowly stood on her legs, worried about where Twilight was.

"What's going on? Cadance, where's Twilight?" Celestia asked, and Cadance lowered her head.

"Oh Aunt Celestia, please forgive us, but Twilight has gone missing!" Cadance said, and Celestias' eyes widened in complete and utter disbelief and worry.

"What?! But that can't be possible! I thought she was with you!" Celestia said, worry lacing her voice heavily.

"It's my fault Aunt Celestia. I looked away for a second, and she was gone! I'm so sorry!" Cadance said, lowering her head, but Celestia lifted it with a hoof, and wiped her tears away with magic.

"Don't fret Cadance. We just have to look everywhere. Do you have any idea where she might be?" Celestia asked, but they all shook their head, and Celestia cursed herself to the moon for not noticing sooner.

"Well then, let's split up." Celestia said and used magic to teleport her into town with the others.

"Shinning Armor, go alert the guard. Cadance, post pictures of Twilight around town, and you two will help search town, but we'll split up. Now!" Celestia said and they all ran off in different direction's.

Celestia ran off to where she knew they last meet, and looked at the forest, before her expression to one of horror. Please, dear Celestia do not let her really be in there. Celestia walked in though, not fearing for herself, but for Twilight, her most faithful, caring, and loving student.

"Oh please, don't let me be too late!" Celestia said to herself, but then froze with horror at hearing a roar, and a scream of fear, quickly followed by a scream of pain.

"Twilight! I'll be there soon my faithful student." Celestia shouted and ran to rescue her pupil.

'Please let her be safe!' Celestia said and lowered her horn as it glowed before the glow disappeared, but Celestia still had her determined face.

With Twilight: Twilights' scream of pain was quickly followed by a scream of pain as the Manticores' claws hit her side, only creating one large scar, but it was barely bleeding. Twilight looked up with painful, fearful, scared eyes at the Manticore, as it neared closer, raising it's Scorpion like tail.

"Please, somepony save me." Twilight said, covering her head with her hooves.

Suddenly a shadow covered her, and an anger filled voice spoke.

"Take another step toward my pupil, and you'll feel the wrath of the sun!" The voice of an angry Celestia spoke.

Twilight looked up, and gasped. Celestias' mane was tangled in anger just like her tail. Her wings were bristled, and her coat fur stood on edge, and her light purple eyes burned in anger as she glared at the Manticore. Celestia looked at Twilight and gave her a glare also.

"I'll talk with you later!" Celestia shouted, and Twilight gasped.

"Princess, watch out!" Twilight shouted.

Princess Celestia looked up, gasped, and braced herself at the claws hit the side of her face. Twilight gasped at Celestia toke hit after hit, claw after claw from the Manticore, just to protect her. Twilight suddenly felt a surge of energy inside of her, and she couldn't control it. Suddenly, Twilights' eyes went pure white, and magic surrounded her again, and huge purple beam was shot at the Manticore blowing him through ton's of tree's. Celestias' eyes widened and looked at Twilight again, gasping as Twilight once again lost control of her power.

"Twilight, please." Celestia said, laying a hoof on Twilight, but it did nothing, so Celestia hugged the young foal.

"Please Twilight, calm down." Celestia said, and Twilight reverted to normal and hugged Celestia back.

"Princess, your hurt." Twilight said, and noticed the blood on her hoof after hugging Celestia.

"I'll be fine, but I'm more worried about you. You know your aren't suppose to leave Canterlot." Celestia said, but Twilight sighed, lowering her head.

"I know, but I got so curious about the forest, I had to check it out, but...I got scared and began running, and ran into that creature. What was that?" Twilight asked at the end.

"That, my dear student, was a Manticore, something I'll teach you about later." Celestia said and then walked forward, motioning back into Canterlot.

"But for now, let us go..." Celestia cut off seeing a large scar that was starting to bleed a little bit more now that Twilight was moving.

"Twilight, your hurt!" Celestia said, rushing to her side.

Twilight looked at her side, forgetting about the scar, but seeing the blood made her scream. Celestia panicked, grabbed Twilight, and placed her on her back, the blood dripping down Twilights' side, soaking Celestias' back.

Canterlot: Shinning Armor sighed sadly, and sat down, ready to cry. He was so worried about his sister, and no one could find her. Suddenly a hoof touched his cheek, and he saw Cadance, but he still wanted to cry.

"Oh Cadance, I'm so scared and worried for Twilight. What if she's really hurt out there?" Shinning Armor questioned, and Cadance hugged him.

"Hey, don't worry. We'll find her, I promise. I won't rest until we find her, safe and sound!" Cadance said, and Shinning Armor nodded, smiling, and gained his confidence back.

"Yeah, let's..." He was cut off by a shadow quickly passing by, but a drop of blood hit his snout.

"Blood?" Shinning Armor asked, and looked upward to see Celestias' fading form heading for the castle.

"That was Aunt Celestia." Cadance stated, and gasped.

"Let's hurry." Cadance said and Shinning Armor nodded, following her.

With Celestia: The guards went to greet Celestia, but she passed them by in a panic and went straight to the nursing room in the Castle.

"I need a medic, now!" Celestia shouted, and medic's came over.

"Take Twilight, hurry." Celestia said and lowered herself for them to get Twilight.

"Princess...Celestia..." Twilight said, starting to grow weak, now that the wound had opened a bit more.

Celestia watched as they toke Twilight away into a different room, and then the other medic's checked over Celestia, and began healing her wounds also. After about ten minutes later, hooves where head in the castle, and Shinning Armor, his mother and father, and Cadance appeared, and gasped at the sight of Celestia. She had bandages all over her, and she still had bandages still being put on her. Celestia had a crestfallen look on her face though, not even noticing their arrival.

"I hope Twilights' okay." Celestia said, and laid her head down, but a medic quickly pushed her head back up to check the wounds on her face and neck.

"Did you find Twilight?" Shinning Armor asked in relief, and quickly walked to her bedside.

"Yes, but in perfect condition. She was being attacked by a Manticore by the time I reached her, but even still I was too late. I wasn't close by when I heard her scream, and then scream in pain right afterwards. I should've been there to protect her, she's my pupil!" Celestia said, but Shinning Armor patted her back gently and smile at her.

"You did everything you could. The wound wasn't too bad, was it? And where was she at?" Shinning Armor asked.

"She was at the forest, the place she wasn't allowed to enter. Now about the wound..." Celestia was cut off as the door the medic's toke Twilight to open, and Twilight came running out, the nurse's calling her to come back, but Twilight clung to Celestia.

"Twilight, you should be in there getting checked up." Celestia said, but Twilight shook her head, snuggling into Celestia more.

"I...I can't. They had sharp thing's." Twilight said and saw a needle, gave a small whimper and cuddled into Celestias' fore-hooves.

Celestia smiled at the small foal, and nuzzled her head.

"Would it make you feel better, if one of your parents, or if Shinning Armor and Cadance went in with you?" Celestia asked.

Twilight looked around and saw her parents, her brother Shinning Armor, and her pony-sitter Cadance there, and nodded.

"Yeah, but..." Celestia shook her head cutting Twilight off.

"If your worried about me, don't be. You need to get healed up more than I do." Celestia said and used her magic to put Twilight on Shinning Armors' back.

Shinning Armor and Cadance went with Twilight into the room, and Celestia smiled. She was safe now. Later that day, as night had come, Celestia smiled at Twilight who was beside her, and Celestia kissed her forehead. Twilight and she, herself, were all patched up, and fixed, and said to be ready by tomorrow. Celestia then draped a wing over Twilight to keep her warm, and Twilight snuggled closer to Celestia who smiled even more.

"Goodnight Twilight, my most loyal and faithful student." Celestia said to the sleeping Twilight before kissing her forehead again, and falling asleep herself.
