Keaton sighed as she laid down, watching Genis try to impress Persea once again. Something she usually did, but today was different, Persea was actually impressed. Yet, Keaton didn't know if Persea was impressed by his actually tricks, or by his impressive way of failing to impress her. Either way it didn't matter to Keaton, Persea was spending time with him and that's all Keaton wanted to see.

"I see your doing your daily hobby." a mature voice joked.

Keaton smiled, and turned her head, seeing the blue headed nobleman, and duke, Regal Bryant.

"Why hello Regal, how are you?" Keaton asked, and he smiled sitting beside her.

"I'm good. You?" Regal asked, and Keaton smiled at him.

"I'm doing well, thanks for asking. And yes, watching them is my daily hobby." Keaton joked back, and they both chuckled.

"This feels like the past all over again." Regal said, and Keaton looked at him confused.

"Back on the Journey of World Regeneration, and on the Journey to the Ginnungagap." Regal stated, and she gasped.

Back then, she had spent time with Regal and everyone as well. She remembers watching Persea and Genis, and Regal sat beside her, and they talked about his cuffed hands. This time though, his hands are cuffed, but something was on his mind, and Keaton could see it.

"Regal, are you okay? Somethings on your mind." Keaton stated, and Regal sighed, his bangs covering his eyes.

"I'm worried." Regal admitted, and Keatons' ears perked as she looked at him concerned.

"Worried? Worried about what?" Keaton asked, and Regal sighed.

"It happened once, I don't want it to happen again." Regal said, and Keaton could smell his tears coming on.

She transformed into her half-human, half-fox form, and rubbed his eyes, ridding the tears.

"What's going on? You can tell me." Keaton said, and he looked at her.

"I'm worried about Raine, and what might happen." Regal said, looking at his hands, and Keaton knew what he meant.

If something happened to Raine, and he had to be the one to stop her, he might kill himself afterwards. He already lost Alicia, and Raine had helped him move on, and because of that the two got together...if she were to die...Regal would be destroyed.

"I already lost Alicia, I can't lose Raine." Regal said, clenching his hands into fists.

Keaton laid a clawed hand on his fist, and he looked at her, wide eyed, and she gave him a comforting smile.

"Regal, your a gentle, sweet, and kind man. Raine knows you'll never hurt her, even if she asked you. She knows she's too important to you, as you are to her. That's why we're all here, and that's why we protect one another, and besides...we'll never let that happen! You know that. Emil and Lloyd will never let that happen, for they protect this group at all costs." Keaton said, and squeezed his hand.

Regal smiled back at her again, and hugged her as she hugged back. Keaton decided to stay in this form and leaned against his side, and brought out a book, a habit she got from Raine. Ever since this journey started for the demons, Keaton had brought out books, and written down weaknesses she knew about certain demons, and about demon's she researched and read up on. There were many books she had to go through, but Raine helped. Soon it got dark, and Keaton smiled.

"Hey Regal, I think we should get cooking before it gets too dark." Keaton said as the light slowly faded.

"Hm? Sure." Regal said with a smile.

They both got up and began to prepare lunch, with Regal helping Keaton as she wasn't use to cooking as a human. Keaton smiled as she helped Regal, and she watched him cut from time to time. She felt closer to him when cooking, since they spent a lot of their time cooking for the others. Suddenly she felt the sharp stab of a knife on her finger, and looked down to see she had cut her finger while cutting. Thankfully she hadn't cut it off, but it was still cut. She instantly placed her mouth over it, but continued to cut, yet her progress was slower. Regal noticed her speed had slowed, and looked at her before gasping, and stopping her.

"That's enough cutting. We can beginning boiling it." Regal said, and placed everything in a pot.

He pulled her over and sat down, before taking a bandage and first aid kit out, and began to work on wrapping her finger up.

"You should've told me instead of moving this hand more." Regal told her, and she nodded.

"Sorry, I just wanted to finish dinner." Keaton said, and Regal chuckled, before rubbing her head.

"I know, but your health and safety is more important than dinner at the moment." Regal said, and Keaton smiled at him.

"Unless my health relies on my dinner." Keaton joked, and they both began laughing.

Keaton knew that as long as Regal was around, she wouldn't get hurt, even if it was as simple as cutting food for lunch and dinner. As long as Regal was around, she knew she could find comfort in him, and that he would always be there for her, to pick her up and put her back on her feet. Keaton also knew that Regal would protect everyone with his life, even if it meant himself getting killed, but Keaton knew that she would never let that happen to him.
Finally finished! I have had little-to-no time to finish this. I still have some others to do, but at the moment, I just wanted to freaking finish this thing, and I finally have. Emil, Marta, and Lloyd are still yet to come, but they will, don't worry. ^^

As we can see, Keaton and Regal have that father-daughter relationship, and she does learn how to use her human body thanks to his and Raines' guidance, but she learns to cook, and use her fists and legs for battle from Regal. Cooking especially from Regal since Raine isn't much of a desired cook...no offense Raine.

Raine: "None taken."

Anyways, it was hard for me to figure out what I would do for Keatons' and Regals' moment, but it soon came to me. ^^ It was shorter than some of the others, but it still works. ^^

Anyways, hope ya'll like it. ^^
