It was raining at the Bionis head, matching the dreary personality of a certain young Seer. His blue eyes, filled with sorrow, was watching the sky outside the prison in Alcamoth, his mind elsewhere.

'She's alive...but...why doesn't she remember us?' The blonde boy thought, closing his eyes, giving a sad sigh.

The boy, obviously Shulk, growled before standing out of his sit, and walking toward the glass, before leaning his head against it. He was so focused on the girl, Fiora, that he didn't hear the doors open, and close.

"Shulk?" a females voice, smooth and gentle, questioned.

"Melia?" Shulk asked, turning around, meeting the silver haired princess.

"Where is everyone?" Melia asked, looking around.

"Out, and about the city." Shulk replied simply, turning away to stare outside.

Melia sighed, hoping he wouldn't be this difficult to speak with. Sharla was with Reyn and Riki, checking out the new weapons, Reyn mostly causing trouble. Dunban was originally with Melia, but he had told her someone needed to be with Shulk, so Melia had left him after she had comforted him as well.

"Are you alright?" Melia asked, walking toward him, hoping to help him.

'He's locked himself in here for 3 days now. He needs to get out.' Melia thought, concerned to see him so upset.

"I'm...fine." Shulk said, leaning his head against the window again.

"Shulk, it doesn't look like that. You're pale, you haven't eaten well, and the others have stated that you've gotten little to no sleep." Melia said softly, looking at him concerned.

Shulk sighed, and looked at her. She clearly saw the black bags under his eyes, and that he, indeed, was paler than he should.

"Shulk..." Melia said, unable to form words.

She wanted to help him, she wanted to see him smiling again, and laughing.

"Sorry if I'm worrying you. I'm just...lost...for words of what to say. I've thought she was dead for so long, but here she in, alive. I just...I can't think...I feel so lost!" Shulk shouted, punching the glass, startling Melia who jerked back a bit in surprise.

"Shulk, please, you must control yourself. If you do not, the others will be unable to help you, and you will be unable to fulfill your wish. Destroying the Mechon, and getting Fiora back!" Melia shouted at him, startling Shulk.

"Melia..." Shulk said, but Melia cut him off.

"Shulk, the others are worried about you, and so am I. You are putting yourself at risk by not looking after yourself. What if you were in a battle? You'd pass out. Please Shulk, take care of yourself, you must!" Melia pleaded, unshed tears behind her eyes, worry evident on her face.

Shulk was about to respond, but closed his mouth, and looked to his feet. It was true, his mind was so focused on other things that he was putting his health at risk. Sighing, he looked at Melia, smiled, and nodded.

"You're right. I need to straighten myself up. I mean, you lost your father, and yet you pulled yourself together. Your stronger than I am." Shulk stated, making Melia blush, and look away.

"I must be strong, I have people who depend on me to rule them, and lead them in the right direction." Melia stated, looking out the window.

"Is it not the same with you?" Melia questioned, turning to look back at him.

"Reyn, and the others rely on you and your vision's to lead them in the right path. You have people who follow you, so you must be strong." Melia said, and walked toward him as he sighed, and looked away.

"Sometimes, even I break." Shulk whispered, and Melia touched his shoulder gently.

"Shulk, I want you to remember something. If you ever need someone, a shoulder to cry on, someone to help you with your burden, someone who understands, know I am always here for you." Melia said, and hugged him, shocking Shulk.

Melia then let him go, blushing, before she cleared her throat.

"Anyways, I believe it is time to meet the others. They are worried about you, and they want to help you." Melia said, and turned to walk away, but stopped, and looked at him, smiling.

"Shulk, remember, I am always here for you." Melia said, and Shulk nodded with a smile, and she left.

'Fiora, she's right isn't she? I need to pull myself together, for I have friends who are here to help me. And...Melia has promised she's here for me. With all them at my side, I can overcome anything. I will get you back. Shulk thought, took a deep breath, smiled with confidence, and left, hoping to assure his friends that he is back.
Okay, so a long overdue story for :icondarkangelofminecraft: for the gift she did of Keyara. I loved the picture, so I wanted to repay the favor, and made this story.

It took a long time for me to find the right way to do a gift for her, and because I write better than I draw, I did this. I'm not really and Shulk x Melia fan, so I had to do a Shulk and Melia friendship fic, because it's just as cute. ^^; I still added a bit of Shulk x Fiora, but I didn't mean for that to be in it, but how else would Melia comfort Shulk.

This is set right after the Mechon attack at Prison Island, but before Shulk goes to comfort Dunban...or it could be after. I don't know! I tried to get Melia right, but I failed...

Anyways, I hope you all like it. I also hope that you enjoyed it as much as I did writing it. I will try to get more Melia and Keyara stories posted.

Also, keep an eye out for a High Entia OC called Galvin, for soon, you all will see him. ^^

Ohhhh! I love this! It feels like nobody ever writes friendship fanfics, so this warms my heart twice as much. Melia worrying about Shulk is so cute, and she GIVES HIM A HUG ~

It makes me all happy inside~
