Alvis Meet Zaira!

Keyara laughed as she dragged the silver-haired seer behind her, well, he was willingly following her, but was stumbling as she seemed to jog to the transporter.

"Slow down Keyara, I just woke up." Alvis grumbled, bags under his eyes.

Keyara cupped his face, her the sphere's on her arms glowing as she poured energy into him to keep him awake and erase his fatigue.

"Better?" She asked, removing her hands from his face, looking was him with a smile as she pulled him along with her, gently this time.

"Yeah, a bit. Thanks Keyara." Alvis said, smiling and she returned the smile.

"No problem, don't worry about it. Besides, I dragged you out to meet some." Keyara said, entering the transporter, and heading to one of the Hovering Reef's.

They got to Hovering Reef 2, and Keyara stopped, closing her eyes, trying to feel a certain High Entias' ether wave. Feeling it, she focused, noticing it was at the other end of the Reef.

"Come on Alvis." Keyara said, pulling him with her to meet her friend.

She had told her High Entian friend about getting her to meet someone, and after a bit of persistence, the High Entia had relented. Keyara said to meet at Hovering Reef 2, the Reef they meet one another at. As she neared, she saw the High Entia she was looking for. The black winged, silver haired High Entia, Zaira. She was sitting close to the edge, watching the waves pass by underneath.

"Zaira?" Keyara asked gently, hoping to not startle the High Entia.

It didn't work sadly, as Zaira jumped a bit, before turning and smiling softly at Keyara.

"Oh, hello Keyara. Hm? Is this the friend you spoke of?" Zaira asked timidly, standing.

"Yep! Zaira this is Alvis, my childhood friend. Alvis, this is Zaira, a High Entia I share similarities with." Keyara said, introducing one another.

"Hello Alvis, n-nice to meet y-you." Zaira said, kicking the ground, embarrassed.

She hasn't hung out with much people, much less a male, and Keyara had decided to bring a guy for her to meet. Zaira was cautious, but if Keyara could trust the person, then Zaira reasoned maybe she could too.

"Nice to meet you Zaira. I'm glad Keyara has friends outside of just me and Melia." Alvis said, giving a short bow.

Zaira seemed taken back by the show of respect, but smiled nonetheless, and rubbed her neck. Not many people who were so different would be respected, much less have someone glad for them being around.

'He's not too bad.' Zaira reasoned in her mind.

"I can see why Keyara and you are similar. Keyaras' harassed for being a Homs, and your harassed for black wings. I must say, that is interesting." Alvis murmured, looking at her wings, and Zaira sighed, touching the tips of her black wings.

"But I must say it's a nice change. Now my eyes don't hurt from being blinded by white wings." Alvis said, earning a chuckle from Keyara, and to Zaira surprise, she herself giggled.

"Haahaa, Alvis, always the one to make someone laugh. I have a feeling you two will get along, and beside's, Alvis is like me. He's very accepting of people, no matter who and what they are." Keyara said, wrapping an arm around Zaira.

Zaira smiled, and nodded, before looking at Alvis, and tilting her head. She's seen him somewhere before.

"This might sound crazy...but...have I seen you somewhere before?" Zaira questioned, and Alvis sighed, but nodded.

"Most likely. I am the royal family's Divine Seer." Alvis stated, and Zaira gasped.

"The D-Divine Seer?!" Zaira stated surprised, and was about to bow, but Keyara stopped her.

"Nuh-uh, I don't think so. Alvis doesn't like it when people get formal with him." Keyara said, and Zaira straightened, and looked away.

"S-sorry, it...it's just instinct for me to bow to those who are very important." Zaira said, and Keyara sighed.

"Yeah, but not everyone likes it. Me and Alvis don't, and I know Melia doesn't either." Keyara said, and Zaira nearly gasped.

Keyara knows Melia? How well, and how long? Looking at Keyara, she saw Keyara smirking at her, and Zaira gulped. Does Keyara know about her and Melia? After some talking, and Keyara being thoroughly embarrassed by Alvis, causing Zaira to laugh, they headed back. Alvis had Keyara on his back, since she had fallen asleep as Alvis and Zaira got to know one another.

"You know...I was rather hesitant to meet someone else. But, with Keyara, all doubts seem to melt away, and your not a bad person." Zaira said, and Alvis smiled.

"Thanks, and yes, Keyara is a rather special woman. She brings confidence to everyone around her, and brings the best out of us all." Alvis stated fondly, and Zaira smirked, time for some pay back for Keyara.

"Special, hm? Do you like her?" Zaira questioned, and Alvis blushed, and began stuttering.

"L-like her? Well, I...um...erh, I mean I like her. B-but only as a f-friend, I-I mean, we...uh...I mean, I've known her my w-whole life. And I...uh..." Alvis continued to stutter, causing Zaira to laugh a little bit at Alvis' flushed face, but soon calmed down enough to speak.

"Well, I best head home. My mother will worry if I'm not home before she awakens." Zaira stated, and Alvis nodded.

"I-I see. Thank you for your company Zaira." Alvis said, and turned even as she did, but he called to her one last time.

"Zaira!" He called out, and she looked at him confused.

"And thank you, for being a good friend to Keyara." Alvis said, and Zaira smiled.

"Your welcome Alvis. Hope to see you and Keyara soon!" Zaira said, and waved, walking off.

'Yes, he's a nice Homs, just like Keyara. She said he's a nice person, and she wasn't lying. Keyara...thank you, your helpings me meet new people, and make new friends.' Zaira thought, smiling.

Alvis was smiling himself. Keyara wasn't lying when she said the High Entia was nice, and rather timid, but over all good. Keyara had a thing about knowing people, and he guessed it was her ability to see, feel, and sense ether. He was glad there was a High Entia who was not only similar to Keyara, but saw Keyara as a friend. For that, he'd always be thankful to Zaira.
