A Princess's Jealousy, A Inventor's Confusion

Keyara smiled as she sat in the room the Monado was once held in. She was helping Shulk out with some research, giving them all a break as they rested at Colony 9 before heading to the Mechonis Core in hopes of getting some sense into Egil.

"Wow Shulk, there sure are a lot of notes here. Not to mention, it's actually kinda neat." Keyara said, holding some notes related to the Monado.

"You think so?" Shulk questioned, smiling nervously as he scratched the back of his neck.

"Generally, I feel like the place is a mess with all the scattered notes." Shulk said, sitting down in a seat, even as Keyara sat on the Monados' stand.

"Well, it's not a mess. Everything looks organized, but doesn't look to have been touched in month's." Keyara said, noticing some dust here and there.

"Well, I haven't been here since me and Reyn left to get revenge on the Mechon. I only returned once I found out Fiora was alive. I came back here to restock on items, sharpen everything, grab a few books on the outlay of the next area's, and that's it. After I got Fiora back, I came back regularly." Shulk said, blushing a bit, and Keyara chuckled at his attitude.

"Shulk, you're so whipped!" Keyara stated, laughing.

"So?!" Shulk shouted, blushing, trying to defend his pride, making Keyara laugh harder.

One person, though, wasn't smiling, and it was a certain, silver haired, princess. She frowned at the scene, actually glaring at the boy she once had a crush on, and left, pouting. When had Keyara wanted to spend so much time with the young Seer? She had other people who wanted to spend time with her. The silver haired princess sighed angrily, getting upset her childhood friend was spending time with Shulk.

"Melia!" a females voice shouted, hoping to grab her attention.

It work as the young, High Entia princess, looked toward the sound, and saw Fiora, in her machina body, running towards her. Melia smiled softly at seeing Fiora, covered in blue armor from an armor set, Linada, made, called Z-Speed. It fit Fiora nicely, and Melia loved the visor, but Fiora took it off to look at Melia better.

"There you are! I had been looking for you. I never thought I'd find you here." Fiora said, looking around the Military District.

"Oh, I apologize. I...I had been looking for Keyara, but...she is busy helping Shulk out with the Monado Replica Project." Melia said, sighing sadly.

Fiora didn't miss the sad tone, and gave Melia a soft, comforting smile.

"It's alright Melia. We all know how it feels to have someone we love not pay attention. We all get jealous at one point." Fiora said, and Melia went red with embarrassment.

"J-jealous?! Whoever said I was jealous?! You must be delusional to think such a thing about me!" Melia shouted as they left the Military District, making Fiora laugh.

"Oh come on Melia, I was trying to lighten the mood." Fiora said, smiling at the High Entia Princess.

Keyara watched with amusement as Melia and Fiora left, but Shulk only cocked his head, a bit confused.

"Jealous? What could Melia possibly be jealous about?" Shulk questioned, his thinking face on.

"Oh for the love of Bionis, why do you have to be so dense?" Keyara muttered, and looked at Shulk amused.

"You seriously don't know?" Keyara questioned, and Shulk looked at her, still confused.

"Do you know?" Shulk asked, curious, and Keyara laughed, heading back to the lab.

"Hey, Keyara, wait! Do you?!" Shulk questioned, running after her.
