A Goddess and Her Prophet

This is something I wrote long, long ago. I found it and decided to post it. I have so many grammar and spelling error's...but my writing has improved since I first wrote this. Well, here's the better version. And no, I am not pairing Luna with Waka, it was something I wrote when I first made Luna. It was a joking thing.

It was sunny in Nippon as a black wolf, and a man wearing what looked like Noble's clothing walked through Northern Ryoshima Coast, both enjoying the others company. There was something different about the black wolf that made her different from other canine's...she had light blue markings on her black fur, red eyes, with a purple disc, and blue flames. She had white at the tip of her tail, with white lines at her paws, and shoulders on the tuff's of fur.

"Luna, are you okay mon ami?" the guy asked the black wolf.

The guy himself seemed to be a young adult, with long white hair some blonde hair sticking out, and reddish/pink tinting the bottom of the white hair, and a weird mask on his head. His blue eyes looked at the black wolf, Luna in both amusement and curiosity, but a smile was on his lips.

"Hm? Yes, why do you ask?" Luna questioned, her tail wagging with affection.

She didn't know why, but her tail constantly wagged whenever she began speaking to Waka, it happened after she had a meeting with Himiko, the Queen asking how Luna felt towards her idol. Luna hadn't really understood the direction of the conversation, but her answer seemed to have pleased Himiko as the Queen gave her a beaded necklace.

"Well, you've been quiet since your meeting with Himiko. ...Did something happen?!" Waka suddenly shouted the end, panic on his face.

He was protective of Luna, acting like an older brother, sometimes more if something was wrong. Many people judged Luna, based on her powers and her being a black wolf, some though she was a bad sign, and it ticked Waka off to no end. Yet he believed Himiko liked Luna, but if not...then...Luna smiling cut his thoughts off.

"Not bad happened, which I know if what you're thinking. I'm just rethinking the conversation...it was...interesting." Luna stated distracted.

Waka sighed in relief, he didn't need to hurt anyone now, good! Waka wouldn't admit, not to anyone, not even Amaterasu when the wolf remembered him, but he had grown affection feelings for Luna. Feelings that went over the friendship line, feelings that were more developed than friendship...feelings...he didn't want anyone to know of. Himiko was the only one who knew, but she had guessed it after a displaying of protectiveness towards Luna after one of the Tao Trooper's said something bad about Luna. Waka had gotten rid of the member in front of Himiko, and Himiko had questioned him about it after Luna, and the Tao Trooper left. The reason Waka wouldn't tell Amaterasu of his feelings towards Luna were because he didn't want Ammy to kill him, and he didn't feel like competing with renewed feelings that Amaterasu would have for Luna.

"Good, that means I don't have to intently question Himiko about what happened." Waka stated, and Luna smiled, nudging his hand affectionately.

"Calm down Waka, I'm okay." Luna said, rubbing his hand.

Waka understood the hint, and began petting Luna, occasionally scratching behinds her ears, earning a happy bark. Waka smiled at her fondly, she was never like this back at the Celestial Plain. Luna, Tsukimaru as they all called her there, was more quiet, withdrawn, untrusting as she was a prisoner, and growled at any who came near. The only one who even got her to open up was Amaterasu, who was called Shiranui back then, and they had formed a bond unlike any other, but Waka now had that bond with Luna. When Luna moved away, that's when he came back to reality, and noticed the sky was dark.

"It's getting dark, I think we should head back. Or do you wanna camp out here?" Luna questioned, and Waka thought.

"Hm...let's camp out here. We haven't done much camping recently, so I think it'd be nice. Not to mention, there are a lot of stars appearing." Waka commented, and Luna looked to the sky.

She saw he was right, there were plenty of stars, a full moon, and she was sure there would be some shooting stars as well. Smiling, Luna nodded, and they headed for Watcher's Cape, knowing it was a safer place than being close to the beach due to the rampaging Water Dragon. Luna smiled as she laid her head on her paws, watching the stars, Waka beside her smiling, one knee raised, laying one arm on it. Suddenly a star shot into the sky, and Luna gasped.

"Make a wish, ma chérie!" Waka shouted, beating her to it, and Luna smiled more, closing her eyes.

'I wish that I can always stay beside Waka, to never leave his side. And...to one day...tell him how I feel.' Luna thought, and sighed, opening her eyes.

Waka opened his own as well, and smiled softly at Luna, rubbing her head.

"So...what did you wish for?" Waka asked, his blue eyes showing mischievousness.

"I can't tell you that, because then it won't come true." Luna stated, and Waka chuckled.

"Come on, you can tell me!" Waka stated, grabbing her in a hug, and tickled her stomach.

"YEK! Waka-HAHAHAHA!" Luna began laughing, and Waka laughed with her.

Suddenly the beads around Lunas' neck began glowing, stopping them, and making them look at the necklace.

"Where did you get that by the way?" Waka asked, letting her go as she sat down.

"Himiko gave them after our meeting. She said I might need them for a 'special something' or other, but she didn't specify." Luna stated truthfully, looking at the still glowing beads.

"Argh, why are they still glowing? What is-AH?!" Luna screamed as a bright light shot forth.

"TSUKIMARU!" Waka shouted, eyes wide, before he groaned, shielding his eyes.

When the light faded, Waka removed his hands from his eyes, and looked around. After he was sure his eyes adjusted back to only the light of the moon, he looked for Luna...but what he saw shocked him. She was there...just not as he remembered. Before him was a pale skinned woman, with long black hair, blue markings covered her face like her wolf form, and she wore a black and blue kimono like her body. Ears and tail were shown as well, and she groaned, opening her eyes, revealing red iris's...it was her. Wakas' jaw fell open, looking at her in shock...he never expected this.

'Are the Celestial's blessing me? I think my wish just came true...kinda...' Waka thought, even as she looked at him.

"W-Waka? What happened?" Luna asked, unaware of how she looked.

"You...you're...you're..." Waka covered the lower half of his face as a blush overcame his face.

Luna was more confused, before she looked at herself, and blushed. She was human! She slowly used the body she was now granted with, and slowly sat up, before she looked at herself. Her kimono went to her knee's, with short socks, sandals, and a light blue obe around the waist. She looked at her hands, realizing the longer than normal nails, before she felt something twitch on her head. She seemed shocked, before she slowly reached open, realizing she had her wolf ears. She looked behind her, seeing her tail, and smiled. She would still be able to use her brush technique's.

"I-I'm human!" Luna shouted happily, her tail wagging faster.

"Yes...you are..." Waka stated distracted...unable to tears his eyes away from her.

Luna looked at him confused, only to be shocked by the intense emotion in his eyes. She was unaware of just how close he was to her, until she felt his breath of her face when he spoke.

"You are human, and your just as beautiful in this form as well." Waka stated, blushing and Lunas' face went redder than her eyes.

"W-Waka?" Luna questioned, and his eyes softened as he leaned in more.

Luna felt herself lean in as well, her eyes closing, and a spark happened. Her spine tingle, her heart beat faster, her face went redder, and she clutched Wakas' shirt. His lips...they were softer than she thought, than she would've expected. His lips moved against hers in perfect sync, and she felt her arms wrap around his neck, deepening the kiss, even as Waka pulled her closer to him. They separated for air, both panting and gasping for breath. Luna suddenly realized what they did, and she gulped, her face still red, Wakas' face matching her as he realized what happened as well.

"I...well...I..." Luna began stuttering, and looked away, ashamed...what would he think?

"Tsukimaru." Waka said seriously, grabbing her attention.

She looked at him, eyes fixed on him, ears perked, and tail still, but she shook slightly in worry and fear. Waka sighed, before he kissed her again, shocking her; her tail stiffened, and her ears were more alert, but she instantly melted and kissed back, before he broke it.

"I noticed that look, I wasn't mad. In truth, I was happy ma chérie! I've...I've always loved you, for a long time ma chérie." Waka said, hugging her, and she smiled, hugging back, tail wagging.

"I've felt like that for you as well Waka, but was scared. You were of the Celestial Tribe, me of the Lunar Tribe, our tribe's hated one another." Luna stated softly, and Waka pulled away.

"That didn't bother me, and it still doesn't bother me. I love you, and you love me, that's all that matter's." Waka said, and kissed her again, Luna responding.

It didn't matter what the future held for them, they would always love the other. The future may be uncertain, but a new discovery was unfolded, Luna had a human form to change into at will. And while things are grim, as long as their love stayed strong, they'd always have the other.
